Training My Dog to the SportDOG® 425X, 425XS and 425XCamo
Before You Begin
How old does my dog have to be to start training? There is no specific age. Your dog’s ability to learn and follow simple commands, such as “Sit” or “Stay”, is more important than age.
How big should my dog be? We suggest the collar only be used on dogs 8 pounds and up.
Avoid leaving the collar on the dog for more than 12 hours per day to prevent skin irritation. If you notice redness or irritation, discontinue use of the product until the skin is no longer irritated.
