My Dog Doesn’t Respond to the SportDOG® 825X

Make sure both units are fully charged.

• If fully charged and powered on, the collar receiver should blink green every 5 seconds, and the remote transmitter’s Indicator Light will illuminate green when a button is pressed.

Ensure the antenna is installed properly.

• The antenna should be hand-tightened.

Ensure both Contact Points are installed properly.

• Both Contact Points must be installed and hand-tightened. Replacement Contact Points can be purchased below.
  • Standard Contact Points
  • Long Contact Points

Confirm the remote and collar are paired.

Confirm fit.

• If your dog is still not responding, visit How To Fit My SportDOG® 825X.

Try longer Contact Points.

• If you have checked fit but your dog has longer/thicker hair, try installing the longer Contact Points.
