HOW TO ADD ANOTHER COLLAR RECEIVER TO MY SPORTDOG® SPORTHUNTER® 1825X REMOTE TRANSMITTER
How to Add Another SportDOG Collar to your 1825x Remote
Before beginning the pairing process, you will need to program the remote transmitter to the correct mode. Modes allow you to change the function of the buttons.
- If you have more than 2 collars to pair, you can use the following modes:
- You can choose Mode 3 ↑ if you want the ability to tone your dogs.
- You can choose Mode 4 ↑ if you want the ability to vibrate your dogs.

TO PAIR 2 DOGS
Make sure that the remote’s toggle switch is in the up position for the first collar.
Grab the first collar you want to be paired. Ensure the collar receiver is off by confirming there are no lights after 10 seconds.
Press and hold the power button on the collar receiver. The Indicator Light will turn green. Continue to hold until the light goes out, then release the power button.
Press and hold the upper button with the bump on the remote transmitter until you see the collar Indicator Light flash green 5 times. Your remote transmitter and collar are now paired.
Put your toggle switch in the down position.
Repeat steps 2-4 with the second collar.
TO PAIR MORE THAN 2 DOGS
Make sure that the remote’s toggle switch is in the up position for the first collar.
Grab the first collar you want to be paired. Ensure the collar receiver is off by confirming there are no lights after 10 seconds.
Press and hold the power button on the collar receiver. The Indicator Light will turn green. Continue to hold until the light goes out, then release the power button.
Press and hold the button on the remote transmitter that you want to correspond with that collar until you see the collar Indicator Light flash green 5 times. The collar is now paired.
Repeat these steps for the additional collars. Be sure to pair each collar to a separate button on the remote transmitter.
REMINDER: After adding your 3rd collar, put the toggle switch in the down position, and repeat steps 2-5 with collars 4, 5, and 6.
